Chemical control of wild oats. 1. The effect of diallate and trlailate on wild oats, wheat and barley ander different conditions.

Diallate or triallate applied at rates of 0.15-2.5 litres/ha gave sufficient control only when the coleoptiles were in touch with the herbicide. The organic-matter content of the soil greatly influenced the effectiveness of diallate.
