Constitution of a water-soluble galactoglucomannan from the bark of Amabilis Fir (Abies amabilis)

Constitution of a water-soluble galactoglucomannan from the bark of Amabilis Fir (Abies amabilis)

Svensk PappTidn 65(21): 843-6

cf. F.A. 23 No. 4491.) The structure of a watersoluble galactoglucomannan isolated in a yield of 2.8% from the bark is discussed. Further study of an alkali-soluble galactoglucomannan from the same bark showed that it had a similar structure.
