Contribution to the morphological problem of differences between Ascaris Linne 1758 and Ascaris suum Goeze 1782

Vestnik Ceskoslovenske Spolecnosti Zoologicke. 27: 2, 97-101

Lysek considers Ascaris from man and pigs to be identical and to belong to one species, namely, A, lurnbricoides Linnaeus, 1758. The number and shape of the denticles in 20 specimens from children and in 54 from pigs were too variable to be of taxonomic significance.
