Abstract
The F1 hybrids were almost sterile and only a few fruits were produced, but when the hybrids were grafted on Prunus domestica the fertility was increased 10-fold. It was shown that P. domestica can be produced synthetically as an amphidiploid hybrid between P. spinosa and P. cerasifera. -Inst. Acker-u.
