Cotton variety testing: additional information on variety x environment interactions

Analyses were made of data which were available for 16 varieties tested during 1935-37 in eight replicates at the same 11 centres in a region extending from North Carolina to Texas. With respect to yield, the presence of a large variety x location x year second-order interaction indicated a differential varietal response to different environments.
