On various poultry farms in the Armenian S.S.R., from 30 to 64% of chickens were infected with Raillietina circunw'allata var. sibirica. 11-7% of 4, 613 ants (Tetramorium caespitum and Pheidole pallidula) collected on 2 of the farms were infected with cysticercoids of this species and these are described.
