Ecological studies on the sensitivity of soya-bean varieties to day length.

Noji Shikenjo Kenkyu Hokoku/J. Centr. agric. Exp. Sta, 3, 19-78

Japanese varieties were found to vary in (1) period from germination to flower-primordium differentiation, (2) period from primordium differentiation to blooming, and (3) period from blooming to fruit maturation. The effect of short days in accelerating development was most pronounced in late varieties.
