Drench spraying at concentrations of 2.5-10 p.p.m. at full bloom and again 12 days later progressively reduced the ripening period. Maximum fruit set occurred with 5 p.p.m., the greatest fruit size and pulp percentage at 7.5 p.p.m. and the greatest percentage weight of seed and acidity at 35 p.p.m.
