Effect of boron and zinc application on seed yield and quality of sunflower restorer line, RHA-857

A field experiment was conducted during kharif 2000, in Dharwad, Karnataka, India, to evaluate the effects of soil application and foliar spraying of boron and zinc on the seed yield and quality of the sunflower restorer line RHA-857. The soil application of ZnSO4 (10 and 20 kg/ha) was done at the time of sowing, while borax (2 kg/ha) was dusted to the capitulum at the time of ray floret opening at 55 days after sowing (DAS).
