Plant height, peduncle length and flower bud formation of Pusa Dwarf Early were significantly increased by foliar sprays of GA or CPA at 5 or 10 p.p.m. The effect of GA was rather greater than that of CPA. Both compounds increased total yields, GA being more effective than CPA, and concentrations of 10 p.p.m. being more effective than those of 5 p.p.m. Fruit maturity was accelerated by 5 days after the application of 10 p.p.m. of CPA. At 10 p.p.m.
