Seventy BHZP pigs (27-115 kg) were divided into 5 groups and fed on diets with 0, 0.5, 1, 2 and 5 mg iodine/kg feed. Twenty pigs were slaughtered after 3-4 months and iodine levels were determined in thyroid, intestines, blood, bones, fat, and muscles.
