A factorial experiment was established with photo-periods of 9 and 18 hours as the main plots and combinations of 3 N and K2O levels as the sub-plots. N was applied at 0, 100 and 300 Ib. and K2O at 0, 50 and 100 Ib. per acre per year. Photoperiod did not affect vegetative growth, but growth increases occurred at all levels of K as N was increased to N3, the most significant increase occurring at K3.
