The conglutinating complement absorption test as applied to pig sera is described in full detail. Of several antigens (alcohol extract of ovaries, oviducts and uteri, boiled and unboiled saline extracts of whole worms and the polysaccharide fraction of whole-worm extract) which give reactions with infected pig serum, unboiled saline extract of whole Ascaris was found best. "Typical" results quoted from experiments on over 1, 500 sera showed antibody first detectable 13 days after infection.
