Inheritance of a chlorophyll deficient mutant in green gram Phaseolus aureus Roxb

Chlorophyll-deficient plants were observed in the progeny of a cross between two normal plants. The proportions of normal to albino plants segregating in the F2/ fitted a 3: 1 ratio and indicated monogenic inheritance of a recessive mutation.
