Inheritance of alkaloid content in white lupin (Lupinus albus L.)

Inheritance of alkaloid content in white lupin (Lupinus albus L.)

Genet, polon, 2: 2, 55-64

A study was made of the range of variation in alkaloid content in hybrid material from crosses between three of Barbacki's low-alkaloid strains. These were White I (primus, Tertius) and White III and White V, both with the constitution Primus, tertius. White I has an average alkaloid content of about 04% while the other two have about 0.04%. White I was crossed with each of the other two.
