Inheritance of leaf chlorosis in an interspecific cross between Triticum durum and T. dicoccum

durum variety which is highly resistant to brown rust, was crossed with IC1057, a T. dicoccum line highly resistant to black rust. Although the F1 was normal, the F2 segregated on the basis of 13 normal: 3 chlorotic, which suggests the epistatic action of an inhibitor suppressing the phenotypical expression of chlorosis.
