Inheritance of leaf in pigeon-pea-Cajanus calan (L.) Millsp

According to the results from crosses involving the mutants unifoliata (unifoliate pointed leaf) and oval-oblong trifoliata (trifoliate leaf with roundish apices) and two varieties bearing trifoliate leaves with pointed apices, the trifoliate condition is monogenic and dominant over the unifoliate, while the pointed apex is dominant over the roundish and also monogenic.
