Inheritance of partial male- and female-fertility in Sorghum vulgare Pers

Inheritance of partial male- and female-fertility in Sorghum vulgare Pers

Diss. Abstr, 23: 804-05

All the data obtained support the hypothesis that two major genes, Pf1, Pf2, in the presence of sterile cytoplasm control partial male fertility; greater restoration of fertility was obtained with Pf1 than with Pf2. With Pf1 Pf1or pf1 pf1, Pf2 acts additively. It was confirmed that msc msc produces complete male sterility in the presence of sterile cytoplasm.
