Inheritance of resistance to Fusarium root rot in Phaseolus vulgaris L. and Phaseolus coccineus L

Inheritance of resistance to Fusarium root rot in Phaseolus vulgaris L. and Phaseolus coccineus L

Diss. Abstr, 18: 1, 32-33

In greenhouse and field studies at Oregon State College O.S.C.22 (P. vulgaris) was used as the parent susceptible to root rot (F. solani f. phaseoli) in crosses with a tolerant Mexican line of P. vulgaris and 2014 of P. coccineus. Seeds were inoculated by dipping in a thick emulsion of macerated agar cultures.
