Inheritance studies in groundnut crop-I

Indian Oilseeds J, 6: 4, 288-92

Crosses involving six varieties showed that spreading growth habit is "the result of interaction of supplementary factors, either of the two pairs producing an 'erect with bushy' and 'erect with open' habit when existing alone." The respective genotypes for the three growth habits are designated S1-S2-, S1-s2s2 and s1s1S2-.
