Three intervarietal crosses of Triticum aestivum, E871 x NP718, NP775 x NP790 and NP701 x E581, were studied. Resistance to each of the above races was found to be controlled in E581, NP790 and E871 by single dominant genes and susceptibility in NP710, NP718 and NP715 by their corresponding alleles.
