Inhibiting action of lactenin on the growth of staphylococci.

Inhibiting action of lactenin on the growth of staphylococci.

Nuovi Ann. Igiene Microbiol, 7: 3, 201-07

The sensitivity of 41 strains of Staph. aureus, 7 of Staph. albus and 7 of Staph. citreus to lactenin was studied by observing their coagulating action on milks, previously heat-treated at 65 degrees or 100 degrees C, and incubated at 37 degrees C for up to 15 days.
