Inhibiting effect of GA treatment on the vernalization of winter wheat in short days.

Inhibiting effect of GA treatment on the vernalization of winter wheat in short days.

Naturwissenschaften. 49: 7, 164-5. bibl. 4

Triticum aestivum var. Hodoninska Holice was given up to 30 days of short-day (8 hr) treatment and was sprayed every 4-5 days with GA solution (25 mg/l.). With a short period of vernalization and a prolonged short-day treatment, the supplementary effect of GA on short days was reduced.
