Fully ripened seed of Agrostemma githago and Vaccaria pyramidata treated with benzeneboronic acid showed maximum sensitivity to concentrations of 2 x 10-3M for 24 hr after the seed was soaked in water for 9 or 27-42 hr to induce germination. From Chem.
