Inhibition of the intradermal tuberculin test in cattle by injection of swine erysipelas hyperimmune serum

Mh. Vet Med 16: 585-587

Fifty cattle of both sexes and various ages were tested by the intradermal tuberculin test and again 14-21 days after injection with swine erysipelas serum. At the second test skin thickness was on the average reduced by 53% as compared with the test before injection with the serum, whilst in controls the reduction was only 4.4%.
