The species studied were Hazel, Alnus glutinosa, White and Black Poplar, Aspen, Willow (6 spp.), Ulmus laevis, Field Maple, Sycamore and Norway Maples, Acer negundo, Ash, Beech, Hornbeam, Quercus robur, Q. sessiliflora, Q. borealis, Robinia, Cytisus scoparius, Prunus (2 spp.), Euonymus, Sorbus, Crataegus, Rosa and Juniper.
