Abstract
In pot experiments with rice soils supplied with (NH4)2SO4, the maximum amount of immobilized N snowed a positive correlation with the total organic-C (or N) content of soil. The fraction of N hydrolysable in 6 n HC1 increased with progressing immobilization of N.
