Light and temperature in their relation to plants have been studied extensively in recent decades, but only to a limited extent have the results of these investigations been applied in the cultivation of ornamentals on which they have so much bearing. In the circumstances, any attempt to help the grower to catch up with scientific advance must be welcomed.
