Budding success and growth of 'Heidegger', 'Summit', 'Techlovan', 'Lapins', 'Sylvia' and 'Regina' sweet cherry cultivars grafted on clonal rootstocks 'F 12/1', 'P-HL A', 'P-HL B' and 'GiSelA 5' were studied during three consecutive years (2000-02) in Poland. Trees on 'F 12/1' were treated as the control. Rootstocks did not have any effect on the budding success, but tree growth in the nursery was affected by rootstock.
