On the resistance of the Korean housefly, Musca domestica L., to p,p'-DDT, y-BHC and malathion.

In the first of these papers, the author records investigations demonstrating resistance to DDT in strains of Pediculus humanus humanus L. (P. h. corporis Deg.) and Musca domestica L. from Seoul, in Korea. In the second, he describes tests in which adults of M. domestica from Seoul were exposed to deposits of p.p'DDT, gamma BHC and malathion at 25 mg. per sq. ft. in glass jars. Knockdown times indicated greater susceptibility of the males to all these insecticides.
