Performance studies in winged bean (Psophocarpus tetragonolobus L.) (DC.) for green vegetable pod yield and its component characters

The performance for green vegetable pod yield and its component characters (including days to first and 50% flowering, percentage pod set, number of early and late pods, total number of pods, pod length and breadth, and leaf area) of 36 genotypes of winged bean (P. tetragonolobus) was evaluated in July 2000 in Arabhavi, Karnataka, India, during 2000. The genetic variability and variability components coupled with character associations among the yield components were computed.
