Reciprocal effect on urinary excretion of free amino acids, polypeptides and proteins in the healthy child or the child with kidney disease

Reciprocal effect on urinary excretion of free amino acids, polypeptides and proteins in the healthy child or the child with kidney disease

Boll. Soc. ital. Biol. sper, 33: 730-734

The infants were given by intravenous infusion 150 to 200 ml. commercially prepared 5 per cent. amino acid solution (Amino Abbott), free of polypeptides. In other tests they received 40 to 60 ml. of a 4 to 6 per cent. solution of Hb or one of human albumin. Urine was collected by catheter and free amino acids, polypeptides, protein and creatinine were estimated.
