This is an account of an investigation of the possibilities of providing the Burmese market with reconstituted milk products prepared from imported American dried skim-milk and dry butterfat. Some details are also given of the present position of the Burmese dairy industry. The total estimated milk production during 1957 was 66, 045, 000 gal. (U.S.) providing only about 27 1b. milk annually per head of population.
