Recommendations for the application of cattle manure to coffee

Kenya Coffee 24: 488-9

For new plantings an application of 6-8 gal. of cattle manure plus 2 oz. of double superphosphate per planting hole is advised. In mature coffee the use of cattle manure is only recommended on eroded slopes and on light infertile soils.
