Recording egg production using part-records

Recording egg production using part-records

Pol'nohospodarstvo. Bratislava 6: 725-744

The records for 1954-56 of 477 White Leghorns and 128 Rhode Island Reds were used to compare annual egg production from daily records with that based on records for 3, 4 or 5 days per wk. or on daily records for Dec.-Feb., March-May or Feb.-March. Recording for 3, 4 or 5 days per wk. compared more favourably with daily annual records than did recording in various mths.
