Recovery from short-term retardation in the growth of young animals with special reference to retarded growth in lambs.

Recovery from short-term retardation in the growth of young animals with special reference to retarded growth in lambs.

Arch. Tierzucht. 2: 2, 91-102

Results of 4 trials showed that lambs weaned at 11/2-2 months, and fed well, grew slowly from weaning to about 4 months but subsequently made good progress so that by 7 months of age their weight was similar to that of lambs weaned at 3 months.
