Recovery of applied phosphate by green crop grown in acid soil

The fertilizers including phosphates were applied to Crotolaria anagyroides on an acid tea soil (loamy sand of pH 4.7) so as to supply up to 80 Ib/acre P2O5. The green crop benefited considerably by fertilizing especially with P, and P recovery from super reached up to 26 % within eight months after application; the corresponding figure for indigenous rock phosphate was 1.
