The survival of commercial varieties and wild forms of red clover under conditions of prolonged flooding (24-30 days) was investigated at the Dedinovo Experiment Station, Moscow district. The outstanding varieties, in terms of percentage survival, were as follows: Dedinovo, a selection from a local wild form; Lenskij and Pizemskij, two northern wild forms; and Habarovsk, a late-flowering variety.
