Redescription of the digenetic trematodes Lepidapedon calli and L. pugetensis Acena, and new host records for L. calli and Eurycreadium vitellosum Manter from fishes of Washington State

Redescription of the digenetic trematodes Lepidapedon calli and L. pugetensis Acena, and new host records for L. calli and Eurycreadium vitellosum Manter from fishes of Washington State

Canadian Journal of Zoology. 39: 5, 615-621

Ching redescribes and figures Lepidapedon calli and L. pugetensis from the holotypes and para-types and from additional specimens collected from Parophrys vetulus and Microstomus pact-ficus (new host record) at Friday harbour, Washington, U.S.A. Remeasurement of Acena's specimens and of 15 additional specimens of L. calli have shown this species to have a greater range in size than originally indicated; the structure and shape of the cirrus sac also differs from that originally described.
