Redistribution of assimilates in the leaf blade of the soya-bean plant.

Redistribution of assimilates in the leaf blade of the soya-bean plant.

Doklady Akad. Nauk SSSR (Proc. Acad. Sci. USSR), 120: 4, 904-6. bibl. 6

9: 111 and 817). The authors' earlier studies showed that leaf assimilates in Glycine soja are not translocated from one leaf to another of similar age but are carried to meristem-atic tissues (leaves or other organs). Experiments now reported were designed to determine whether the assimilates are circulated within the leaf lamina.
