Reduced resistance to P. infestans of ringed leaves of Phytophthora-resistant Potato varieties

Reduced resistance to P. infestans of ringed leaves of Phytophthora-resistant Potato varieties

Bull. Acad. Sci. U.S.S.R., Ser. biol, 4: 456-462

At the Research Institute of Potato Economy, Korenevo, Moscow district, in 1956, tests on the potato vars. Seyanets 78, Lorh, Berlihingen, and Moscow showed that P. infestans grew better on detached leaves, which had, 5 days previously and before removal, had their petioles flamed.
