Abstract
Of 2729 patients of both sexes and all ages examined, 2076 were white, 307 Negro, 328 Puerto Rican and 11 of unidentified ancestry. A separate group of 702 pregnant women, referred chiefly for anaemia or suspected malnutrition, also was examined.
