Special Issue: Exotic species and wild germplasm

Special Issue: Exotic species and wild germplasm

Israel Journal of Plant Sciences 54(3): 149-255

This special issue contains 11 papers focusing on exotic native species in Israel (including deciduous fruit trees, Aegilops sharonensis grass and Allium sp.) and the cultivation and breeding of plant cultivars (including jojoba, tomatoes, peppers, Solanum muricatum, squash, pumpkins, and Cucumis melo). The genetic variability of horticultural valuable traits of vegetables and fruits, and improvements brought about through genetic engineering were studied.
