The phosphate contents of different leaves of Co.453 were studied in numerous samples, and the coefficient of variability was found to be least in the 4th leaf from the top. The P2O5 content of the leaves was determined in crops given 50, 100, 150 and 200 Ib. P2O5 per acre as superphosphate.
