In the 1st experiment the vitamin B12 content of the milk of 29 cows was determined before and after feeding a commercial mineral mixture, providing 2 mg. Co per head per day. The vitamin B12 content of milk was 3.98+or-1.54 mu g./l. before feeding and 5.80+or-1.89 mu g./l. after feeding, the difference being significant at the 1% level.
