The vitamin B12 content of 212 milk samples (from Friesian and cross-bred cows) collected from June 1956 to Jan. 1958 was determined by microbiological assay with E. coli 215 and an average value of 0.33 micro g./100 ml. with a range from 0.10 to 1.30 micro g./100 ml. was obtained.
