The addition of urea to fungicidal sprays applied to vines

Ann. agron 7: 1093-6

Four treatments were given to an old vineyard which had not been manured for 25 years; they were bordeaux mixture at 2%, Captan at 0.25% commercial product, bordeaux 2%+urea 0.7% and Captan 0.25%+urea 0.7%. Application to the foliage was made at high pressure on 27th April, 10th May, 1st June, 9th June and 16th July, plus 1 general spray of bordeaux or bordeaux+urea on the 20th July.
