The content of trace elements and the effectiveness of trace-element fertilizers on sod-calcareous soils of the Estonian SSR.

The content of trace elements and the effectiveness of trace-element fertilizers on sod-calcareous soils of the Estonian SSR.

Mikroelem. s. Kh. Medits, 297-304

The soils usually contain 5-7 mg Cu per kg of absolutely dry soil, 6-27 mg B, 1.1-5.0 mg Co and 0.035-0.05% Mn. Humus-calcareous soils contain 6.8-8.4 mg Cu, 10.0-28.5 mg B, 2.0-6.8 mg Co and 0.032-0.242 % Mn. Sod-gley soils contain 0.6-6.7 mg Cu, 2.0-7.0 mg B, 1.1-4.0 mg Co and 0.01-0.25 % Mn. Podzolic sandy soils contain 0.1-6.3 mg Cu, 2.0-2.5 mg B, 0.1-1.8 mg Co and 0.005-0.007% Mn. All the soils were deficient in trace elements.
