The fruit quality of tomatoes as affected by para-chlorophenoxyacetic acid (PCA) for increasing fruit set during cool seasons.

The fruit quality of tomatoes as affected by para-chlorophenoxyacetic acid (PCA) for increasing fruit set during cool seasons.

Mem. Coll. Agric. nat. Taiwan Univ 4(4): 27-45

PCA sprays at 3 concentrations were applied to Pritchard tomato plants. The percentage of abnormal fruits was not increased by PCA. Sprays increased the percentage of green locule, the greatest amount being found in the earliest picks and with 30 p.p.m. PCA.
