Fourteen peach varieties with chilling requirements between 400 and 750 hours were evaluated at the North Florida Experiment Station, Quincy, Florida for 1960, 1961 and 1962. Data is presented for eacy year on dates of full bloom, foliage break, and fruit maturity as well as average weight per fruit, red overcolor, fruit diameter and flesh color. On the basis of this work and other observations Maygold, Junegold and Earligold varieties are recommended as suitable for commercial use in the area.
